As well as standard black, we supply window seals in grey, white, cream and other colours on request. TPE colours superbly and is colourfast, ideal when the rubber is visible.
Black is the standard and most UV-resistant colour (black EPDM). If you want the rubber to match the bodywork, boat, motorhome or window frame, we also supply grey, white and cream, and other colours on request. TPE is the logical choice for this: it colours well and is colourfast. The plastic strip is also available separately in colour, to match or deliberately contrast.
Which colours are possible?
Black is by far the most used. Grey, white and cream are also common, and other colours are possible on request for custom work. The plastic strip is also available separately in various colours (including black, grey, white, cream and blue), so the closing strip can match or provide an accent.
Colour and material: EPDM or TPE
EPDM is the standard for outdoor and vehicle use because of its UV, ozone and weather resistance, and is usually black; colours other than black are more limited or available on request.
TPE is flexible, recyclable, colours well and is colourfast, making it the logical choice when colour and appearance matter. Specific RAL or colour requests are possible for custom work.
When should you choose a coloured window seal?
- Aesthetics: when the rubber is visible and needs to fit the overall look.
- Matching with bodywork, a boat or motorhome interior, or a light-coloured frame (grey, white, cream).
- Decorative strip in chrome or colour as an accent or authentic finish, especially on classics.
