A rubber gym floor provides grip, dampens noise and protects the subfloor. DG Rubber Profiles’ tiles are made of SBR rubber granules bonded with PU adhesive: a resilient floor that absorbs the impact of free weights and keeps its structure under intensive use.
Available in 540 × 540 and 1,000 × 1,000 mm, 20 mm thick, for loose laying on a level surface. Black as standard, the large tile also with a coloured EPDM top layer to mark zones in the room. For gyms, PT studios and home gyms.

Why a rubber floor in a gym?
In a gym, the load from weights, equipment and shoes lands on the same floor every day. A hard floor gets damaged by falling weights, transmits noise to the room below and offers little grip when wet.
Rubber solves all three problems at once. The resilient surface absorbs the impact of free weights and protects the subfloor. The rubber structure provides grip, even under intensive use. And the 20 mm thick layer keeps the noise of deadlifts, racks and dumbbells in the room.
Because the tiles are laid loose, the floor can also be adapted. If a zone takes heavier loads, you can replace those tiles individually. If the gym grows, you simply add tiles.
Benefits of DG rubber gym tiles
Grippy rubber structure
A resilient surface that keeps its grip, even with intensive use and sweaty hands and feet.
Damping and protection
Absorbs the impact of free weights and protects the subfloor from damage.
Weights and equipment
Suitable for free weights, racks and cardio machines in one space, without separate zones on different floors.
Replace or expand
Laid loose, so tiles can be replaced one by one if a zone takes heavier loads, or added to as the gym grows.
From squat rack to cardio zone
One floor for the whole gym. The rubber tiles are suitable for free weights, racks and cardio machines in one space, so you do not need separate floors for each zone.
Noise reduction
Deadlift platform, racks and dumbbell zone: the 20 mm rubber layer absorbs the load and keeps the noise in the room.
Level surface
A stable, level surface under the machines. A calm floor appearance thanks to the straight joints of the large 1,000 × 1,000 mm tile.
PT studio and home gym
The compact 540 × 540 mm size is easy to handle and flexible to expand, even in smaller rooms.
Black, or with a coloured EPDM top layer
The gym tiles are black as standard. Black rubber shows dirt and wear the least and suits almost any interior.
The 1,000 × 1,000 mm tile is also available with an EPDM top layer in various colours. Use it to mark zones in the room, such as a deadlift platform, a functional training zone or a walkway between the machines.
Because the tiles are laid loose, you can add or move coloured tiles later if the layout of the gym changes.
SBR rubber granules bonded with PU adhesive
The gym tiles are made of SBR rubber granules bonded under pressure with PU adhesive. The result is a floor that is resilient yet does not sag under racks and machines. The granular structure provides grip and helps the tile keep its shape under repeated loads.
DG Rubber Profiles uses the same material for rubber stable tiles in the equestrian sector, where it absorbs the load of a horse weighing hundreds of kilos every day. For outdoor play areas, DG Rubber Profiles supplies rubber playground tiles made of the same material.

Frequently asked questions about rubber gym flooring
What sizes do rubber gym tiles come in?
Two sizes: 540 × 540 mm and 1,000 × 1,000 mm, both 20 mm thick. The compact size is easy to handle and flexible to expand, while the large tile gives a calm floor appearance with fewer joints.
Is a rubber gym floor suitable for free weights?
Yes. The 20 mm thick rubber layer absorbs the impact of free weights, protects the subfloor and keeps the noise in the room. Suitable for deadlift platforms, racks and dumbbell zones.
Does a rubber gym floor need to be glued down?
No. The tiles are laid loose on a level surface. This means a tile can be replaced individually, or the floor expanded, if a zone takes heavier loads.
Are the tiles also available in colour?
The tiles are black as standard. The 1,000 × 1,000 mm tile is also available with an EPDM top layer in various colours, for example to mark zones in the room.
What is the gym floor made of?
SBR rubber granules bonded with PU adhesive. This gives a resilient, grippy floor that keeps its structure under intensive use.
