Rubber extrusion is a continuous process in which unvulcanised rubber is forced through a die and then cured. Constant process control is the key to dimensional stability.
The process steps
- Mixing and preparing the rubber compound
- Extruding through the custom-made die
- Vulcanising in the continuous oven or salt bath
- Cooling, measuring and cutting to length
Thanks to our in-house tool making, we switch quickly between orders and keep control over quality and lead times.
