We recently visited one of our regular customers, together with our marketing agency TUQR: LEKKER Boats! Among other things, we took some great photos behind the scenes at this company.
About LEKKER Boats
Foreigners find us Dutch rather amusing, because for us everything is ‘lekker’: ‘lekker’ sleep, ‘lekker’ shopping, ‘lekker’ enjoying yourself, a ‘lekker’ holiday, a ‘lekker’ swim, a ‘lekker’ boat trip… Non-Dutch people really only know ‘lekker’ in reference to food. The food is tasty, and that’s that! Yet they are inspired by the ‘lekker’ way of life that we Dutch, and Amsterdammers in particular, have taught ourselves.
LEKKER’s founder Meindert Wolfraad discovered this too as he travelled the world. The Amsterdam way of life attracted a great many people. Going wherever you want, taking control of your own life, whether on the road or at sea. The freedom to go your own way, that sounds rather lekker.

LEKKER Boats can now call itself a true expert in building luxury tenders with the power of a speedboat. Thanks to the use of lightweight, high-quality aluminium, the boats can be adapted to any design. And DG Rubber is happy to do its bit in building LEKKER Boats’ vessels! For years they have come to DG for the best value-for-money products for their tenders. We are rather proud of that.
There are now more than 150 boats sailing around, from Hong Kong to Miami and of course in the Netherlands. So we too can rightly say: DG is destination driven!
