Why rubber stable tiles in a horse stable?
A horse spends most of the day in its box. On a hard surface, the load of all that standing falls entirely on the legs and joints. Rubber stable tiles give with the horse and reduce that load, while the horse still stands stably.
The rubber also provides grip. In the aisle, at the grooming area and in the box, a horse is less likely to slip, even when the floor is wet. That reduces the risk of slipping when getting up, turning or walking in and out.
Rubber is also easier to clean than a floor with bedding alone. The tiles are resistant to moisture and urine, which inhibits bacterial growth and makes the stable easier to keep hygienic.

H-model puzzle tiles made of SBR granulate
The stable tiles are made of SBR rubber granulate bonded under pressure with PU adhesive. This produces a tile that is resilient yet keeps its shape under the weight of a horse.
The H shape makes the tiles interlock. This stops them shifting, keeps the joints closed and creates a level stable floor without loose edges that a hoof could catch on.
The PU adhesive used is urine-resistant, so the bond stays intact with daily exposure to moisture and manure, and the tile retains its properties even after prolonged use.

Laying rubber stable tiles
Thanks to the H shape and the weight of 25 kg per tile, the stable tiles lie loose on a level, paved surface. The tiles interlock and do not need to be glued down. At edges and corners, you cut the standard tiles to size during laying, so that the floor fits tightly against the walls of the box.
