2. What data do we process and why?

Quote request (configurator)
Name, company name, email address, phone number, your specifications (such as application, dimensions, quantity and colour) and any drawing or photo you upload. We use this data to assess your request, prepare a quote and contact you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

Contact form
Name, company name, email address, phone number and your message, to answer your question. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries from (potential) customers.

Sample and sample package requests
Name, company name, business email address, phone number, job role, company address, website and your application, to send the sample or sample package and to contact you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to a contract and, for follow-up, our legitimate interest.

Advertising measurement
If you reach our website through a Google advert, we store the related click ID (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) with your request. This shows us which adverts lead to requests. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in evaluating our advertising.

Customer relationship
If you become a customer, we use your data to perform the contract, for invoicing and for service. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations (such as tax record-keeping).

3. Cookies and similar technologies

On your first visit, the cookie banner asks for your consent to statistics and marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

  • Necessary (always on): storing your cookie choice (dg_consent, 180 days) and your language choice (pll_language, 1 year).
  • Statistics (only with consent): Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager, to measure how the site is used.
  • Marketing (only with consent): Google Ads, to measure and tailor adverts (remarketing).

We use Google Consent Mode v2: without your consent, Google does not set analytics or advertising cookies. As proof of your choice, we record it without a traceable IP address; this record is deleted automatically after 2 years.

ActiveCampaign
ActiveCampaign site tracking is active on this website. It records website visits and, if you are known to us as a contact, links them to your details so we can tailor our follow-up. This tracking is currently loaded on every visit, including without consent via the cookie banner.

4. Who do we share data with?

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us run the website and our services, and with whom we have a data processing agreement:

  • our hosting provider in the Netherlands (website and email);
  • Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads) – only with your consent;
  • ActiveCampaign (email and customer follow-up).

If you click the WhatsApp button, WhatsApp opens and the terms and privacy policy of WhatsApp (Meta) apply.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Google and ActiveCampaign may process data in the United States. Such transfers take place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. How long do we keep data?

  • Requests and contact messages: 2 years after the last contact, unless they lead to a contract.
  • Customer data and invoices: 7 years, due to the statutory tax retention obligation (the Netherlands).
  • Record of your cookie choice: 2 years.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as a secure (HTTPS) connection and restricted access to the data. We treat drawings and specifications you send us as confidential.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to data portability. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Send your request to info@dgrubberprofiles.nl; we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or the authority in your own country.

9. Changes

We may update this privacy policy, for example when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
